I was talking to my F5 students who are sitting for the SPM exam this morning. To my surprise, many of them do read my blog. I am really surprised as not many of them left me comments/feedback although they are curious about certain posts. Well, guys, you know that I am the most approachable person in SRI KDU besides Mrs. Chan, right, so, why shy shy? If you feel like asking questions or dropping a comment, just do so loh. I won't be able to deduct any marks from your Bio paper what!! :P Anyway, I wish you all well in the SPM exam, especially BIO! Must beat CHEM and PHY and also ADMATH! Go, go BIOLOGY! Go, go ZACHARY! Betty Boop was first seen in the 30s, yeah long before we were all born, by Grim Natwick, the very first animator to draw Betty as a human-like dog. Did you know that Betty was not yet been officially named by then. Grim took inspiration for Betty's spit curls from a song called the "Boop Oop a Doop Girl". She had a black button nose and floppy ears hinting at her canine nature. These ears later became her round earrings. Grim must be a fan of singer Helen Kane to have Betty's high baby voice, like the spit curls too, an imitation of her. Betty became completely human in 1932 and her ears permanently became earrings. There are a few reasons why I love Betty:
